Camera 18 Support
Frequently asked questions
Why is the app asking for camera access?
Camera access is required for the live viewfinder and taking photos. The camera feed is never recorded or sent anywhere — it exists only while you are composing a shot.
Where are my photos saved?
Photos you take are saved to your photo library, alongside the rest of your pictures. You can view and manage them in the Photos app.
The photo didn't open in Photos when I tapped "Open in Photos"
Some iOS versions block jumping straight into the Photos app from other apps. Your photo is still safely saved in your library — just open Photos from your Home Screen.
How do film styles and LUTs work?
Camera 18 ships with built-in film-camera profiles. If a profile supports it, you can fine-tune the look with the LUT Intensity slider in the profile's settings. You can also import your own style files through the file picker; imported files stay on your device.
Does the app collect my data?
No. Camera 18 has no ads, no analytics, and no servers. Photos, settings, and imported styles are processed and stored entirely on your device. See the Privacy Policy.
