Camera 18 Terms of Use (EULA)

Last updated and effective: September 19, 2026

These terms form a binding agreement between you and the developer of Camera 18 for your use of the Camera 18 app on Apple-branded devices. By installing or using the app, you accept these terms. Camera 18 is licensed, not sold, to you.

1. The app

Camera 18 (bundle ID com.cornpiess.camera18) is a camera application for iPhone that simulates the look of classic film cameras. It renders a live viewfinder, applies film-style color and aperture simulations, and saves the photos you take to your photo library.

2. License

Subject to your compliance with these terms, the developer grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use Camera 18 on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms. You may not distribute or make the app available over a network where it could be used by multiple devices at the same time.

3. Restrictions

You may not: (a) copy the app except as expressly permitted by this license and the Usage Rules; (b) reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app, except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law; (c) rent, lease, lend, sell, redistribute, or sublicense the app; (d) remove or alter any proprietary notices in the app; or (e) use the app to create content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, invasive of another's privacy, or infringes others' rights.

4. Your photos and content

5. Camera 18 Pro subscription (auto-renewing)

6. No warranty; camera simulation disclaimer

Camera 18's film simulations are artistic interpretations. Rendered output (colors, grain, bokeh, aperture behavior, and other effects) is not intended to replicate any specific camera model or manufacturer, and no affiliation with or endorsement by any camera manufacturer is claimed. The app is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. The developer does not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall the developer be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data (including photos), profits, or goodwill arising out of or relating to your use of the app. Because photos are written to your photo library and the developer has no server access, you bear responsibility for verifying that important photos are saved successfully.

8. Apple-specific terms

9. Termination

This license is effective until terminated by you or the developer. Your rights under this license terminate automatically if you fail to comply with any of its terms. Upon termination, delete the app from your device; sections 6–8 survive termination.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developer is domiciled, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence grant you rights that conflict with these terms, those laws prevail.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the app evolves or as legal requirements change. The current version is always available on this page with its effective date. Material changes will be reflected in the app or in release notes before they take effect.
